# Keep Your Mind Stayed On God > 2 Open the gates so a righteous nation may enter—one that remains faithful. 3 You will keep in perfect peace the steadfast of mind, because he trusts in You. 4 Trust in the LORD forever, because GOD the LORD is the Rock eternal.… [Isaiah 26:3](https://biblehub.com/isaiah/26-3.htm) LORD is not "another" in the manifest -- "I am the Lord, your God"; most intimate, I am, at the core of our Being. LORD is the absence of our personal "me"-centered self. 'the Rock eternal' is the Silence that is always here and now; the canvas of life. Not the "me" of a confused person, but the I am -- the natural, effortless Presence of Awareness, the Child of God, in you and as you. Without the presence of Silence we couldn't hear anything! But we tend to disregard the Silence. We might spend decades diligently being busy trying to draw closer to God and always overlook the most obvious. > And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age. [ Matthew 28:20](https://biblehub.com/matthew/28-20.htm) What is with us always? Isn't it Awareness/Silence... Without "I am aware" there is no experience. // https://youtu.be/e3p_vbTO3FQ [[Holger]]: Today I listened to Dr. David Hawkins for the first time. Not to kill the messenger, but to listen/understand the message; and to forgive our own ignorance and resistance. The egoic "me" has a strong aversion and fear towards new insights [ [[Disclaimer (resistance)]] ].
